Cerita Makan Kerang
Berhubung dipanas-panasi temen sampe dikasih resep segala, akhirnya jadi pula gw beli kerang. Lagian kan ini masih bulan yang mengandung huruf "r"di dalamnya. Katanya sih rumus makan kerang yang enak ya harus di bulan-bulan seperti itu. September boleh, dus.
Temenku si Dina memang dari kecil tinggal di daerah pantai di Portugal. Jadi cukup tinggi kadar sakauwnya dengan segala makanan yang berbau laut. Kemarin aja dengan sadis dia ngirim foto makan siangnya: kepiting rebus gendut2 banget!
Hebat juga, dia berani masak kepiting idup yang dijual di aquarium di toko asia. Meskipun katanya rada nggak tega liat mata si kepiting memandangnya tak berkedip (emang kepiting bisa ngedip, mbak?). Saat mr. kepiting dimasukkin ke air mendidih, Dina buru-buru nutup pancinya trus kabur dari dapur dan nutup pintu dapur karena kasian ama kepitingnya. Yeee... tapi enak sih makan kepiting, katanya. Yah, memang life is cruel, ting!
Back to my kerang story, gw berencana masak sesuai dengan resep Dina. Lagian berhubung Huubki belom pernah makan kerang seumur hidup (!!!!) gw kagak bisa lah tiba-tiba memperkenalkan kerang dengan langsung masak kerang saus padang (mmmmmm...). Lagian sih, udah umur segini blom pernah makan kerang. Gak gaullllll... Dulu waktu liburan di Indo kita enak2 pesen kerang saus padang, doski kagak mau makan. Salah sendiri oooii!
Jadi resep kerang cara Portugal gini:
- Panaskan mentega campur olive oil
- Tumis irisan bawang bombay dan bawang putih (gw tambahin bawang bombay merah juga) sampai layu
- Masukkan kerang, aduk2 sebentar
- Tuang segelas air dan segelas anggur putih
- Kalau suka, boleh cemplungin jeruk lemon bulet2 yang dibelah 2 (gak usah diperes)
- Taburi rajangan daun koriander
- Tutup panci dan masak dengan api paling panas selama 5 menit, sambil sesekali diaduk.
Kata yang belom pernah makan kerang sih, rasa kerang oke (catatan: oke ini artinya mmm... boleh lah. kalo enak banget kan reaksinya lain; lekkeerrrrrrr, lekkkeeeeeerrrr). Tapi aku juga gak terlalu napsu makannya, gak nendang sih cara masaknya. Bukan saus padang ato saus tirem. Mblenek nih gw sekarang, mabok kerang apa mabok white wine ikiiiiiii... *hik!*
